At the station
Sandra arrives at the station and gets installed in a comfortable room at the station. She is offered coffee and a piece of cake; she is even offered to ask a friend or family over for her comfort. It was clear that Sandra was innocent, but all the more reason to assume something terrible was going on. The officers wanted to make sure she was safe and comfortable, and they were very accommodating to her.
They wanted to reassure her that she wasn’t in for an arrest, but just so they can get more information from her. They wanted to make sure this innocent bystander was going to be kept safe and that she was not in any danger. They were very kind and understanding, and they made sure she was comfortable and had all the information she needed.
