The Bathroom
She had cracked the window of the bathroom the night before so that steam from her shower could get out. She had been planning to close the door behind her, but she had obviously forgotten that. Missy had to have escaped from here! Or did she? Sandra felt a building feeling of dread that this was where Missy had gone. She couldn’t believe she had missed this.
She had been so careful to make sure that all the windows and doors were closed, and yet she had missed this one. She felt a wave of guilt wash over her. What if she had lost Missy because of this? She wouldn’t be able to forgive herself if that was the case. She had to find her, and fast.
