She picked up the animal to hug it tightly and closed the bathroom door behind her. Missy tried to get out of the grip at first but soon just seemed to surrender to all the hugs and kisses. And when the treats were poured into the animal’s bowl, it waited no time getting them down… Sandra felt a wave of relief wash over her. She was so glad that Missy was back to her old self.
The warm embrace of the animal reassured Sandra that things were going to be alright. She felt a sense of comfort knowing that Missy was no longer scared and was now content in her presence.
