An Odor in the House
By the end of the first week, the two were still trying to get back to some kind of routine, but it finally seemed as though they were managing to one. After work and a couple of hours of moving some furniture around and discussing ideas for the interior, they both climbed into bed. Mandy pulled out a book to read, and James had just shut his eyes when they both noticed something strange.
There was now a horrid smell that had found its way into the room. Mandy didn’t have to say anything because they both noticed it at the same time, and James sat up and looked at his wife.
