A Dog’s Barking That Led To An Odd Find In New Home
Getting Inside the Vent
Unlike the other vents throughout the home, this one didn’t look like it’d ever been replaced. The other vents were still shiny and white, as though they were recently installed. This one was brown and rusted shut. James was able to turn the vents, and the screws had been stripped, so none of his screwdrivers would work. After trying to pry open the vents, James turned to heavier tools.
He tried a chisel, which showed a bit of promise before failing. He then moved on to the crowbar, but it quickly proved to be too big to get any sort of leverage.
