The House Needed a Bit of Work
While the layout and interior of the home were beautiful, in a way that most old Victorians are, it still needed a bit of work. The stain on the hardwood floors had been worn down with age, and some of them creaked and bowed when you walked over them. There were also some spots on some of the portions of the wall that needed to be touched up with paint.
However, most of the house was in pretty fair condition, and renovations wouldn’t take too much work. It was mainly just the usual things that you should expect with an old house.
