The cat now began clawing and scratching at the back door.
This drove Jason crazy, and over the next few nights, the cat just wouldn’t let up.
In the morning, the cat was gone, but Jason wracked his brain trying to figure out what to do because he would certainly be back by nightfall and doing his usual nightly antics.
