In the midst of his confusion, he spotted an open vent. As he bent down and grabbed the flashlight, he peered into the shaft. Anxiety filled him as he nervously gazed into the darkness.
His attention was then caught by a flash of fur. His discovery of the cat with a plethora of the hospital’s missing items was shocking to him.
The problem was that this was only the beginning. There was something else in the darkness too.
