11. Azawakh
The Arabian Greyhound, also known as the North African hound or Sloughi, was developed thousands of years ago for hunting small game. It’s easy to tell how fast they are by looking at their long, muscular legs! Sloughis are considered one of the rarest breeds of dogs in the United States. When around strangers, they are alert and sweet, but when they are around family members, they are alert and shy. Their melancholy appearance thus reflects their calm, shy behavior.
