Bracco Italianos date back to the 4th century B.C., making them the world’s first pointers. In the middle ages, these dogs were quite popular, but in the 1800s they nearly died out, until 2007 when an American club formed for them. Their calm demeanor, calm attitude, and generally tough nature make them excellent hunting dogs.
