The Patagonian Mara, known by many as a kangaroo-hare hybrid, is a truly unique and fascinating animal. As the fourth-largest rodent in the world, they boast many interesting characteristics that set them apart from other creatures. Despite their lack of genetic relation to either kangaroos or hares, they share a few behaviors with them, such as the ability to communicate through grunts and squeals.
