Nicknamed the “Drain Cat,” the Singapura is one of the smallest breeds of cat, reaching a height of just six to eight inches. It was established from a trio of drain cats that were imported from Singapore in the ‘70s. Later, it was revealed that the Singapuras were sent to Singapore from America before being exported back to the States.

Their adult size is between four and eight pounds, and these cats have a lifespan of eleven to fifteen years. Despite their tiny size, these cats are considered healthy with few genetic issues. Also, though small, they are assertive, high-energy, and playful.
