The Korat is a blue-gray, silver-tipped, short-haired domestic cat that is unusually heavy for its small-to-medium build. The Korat lives ten to fifteen years, and it originated in Thailand. In America, these cats are a minority (rare) breed because they have a small gene pool. The Korat can reach ten pounds in weight, even though it stands nine to thirteen inches in height.
