The Asian Cat, also known as a Malayan, is similar to the Burmese, but it comes in a wide range of patterns and coat colors. The Asian Cat was actually, despite its name, developed in Britain. The litter of kittens that began the breed was owned by Miranda von Kirchberg, a Baroness.

The Asian cat has a full-looking face and expressive ears, and they are similar to the Burmese in temperament. They share a lot of Burmese traits, such as affection and child-friendliness. Asian Cats love to explore, play, and even travel in a cat carrier. They are loud cats with a strong will, so be prepared to hear a lot of meowing.
