Let’s have a coffee
As soon as Emily arrived, she parked, entered, and had coffee in the rear with the woman she had spoken to on the phone. She was informed that an unknown guy had placed the ring in the collar the day before their first meeting. Emily saw that the woman seemed embarrassed to share the news with her. She was at first too timid to reveal her identity on the phone since she did not recognize the caller.
