Its owner thought it was a Poodle … but it turned out to be a ferret!
It’s always very easy to recognize poodles making it very hard to mistake one for another animal. That said, it is unfortunate that so many people actually mistook some ferrets for poodles in the South American country of Argentina.
An Argentine citizen gave some ferrets some steroid injections, something that made them look a lot like poodle puppies. He then sold the ferrets for a lot of money, amounting to hundreds of dollars. The new owners were extremely shocked to discover that what they thought were purebred poodles were completely different. They were ferrets.
