That’s where he met Ryan, a kind-hearted man who worked there. Ryan immediately showed affection by petting Buddy, who wagged his tail in response, thrilled to finally encounter someone kind. Buddy’s sweet demeanor won Ryan over, and soon, Buddy found himself on his way to a new home.
When Ryan brought Buddy home, the pup hesitated at the doorstep, too nervous to venture inside. Gently, Ryan carried him into the house where his wife, Tracey, warmly welcomed Buddy. Although Buddy remained cautious, the couple hoped their affection would help him feel at ease.

To ensure Buddy was healthy, Ryan and Tracey gave him a much-needed bath and noticed patches on his fur. Concerned, they promptly took him for a veterinary checkup. The vet diagnosed the cause as mites and prescribed medication, but did not find a microchip.
As Buddy settled in, the family, which included their son Noah, endeavored to make him feel comfortable. Initially, Buddy stayed in his crate and hesitated to move around the house. The family would sit with him, offering food by hand and showering him with gentle affection. Despite their efforts, Buddy remained a bit reserved.

The family’s two other dogs did not immediately warm up to Buddy, especially Sissy, who was unfriendly at first. However, one family member, Noah, managed to break through Buddy’s cautious exterior. According to Tracey, “There was one person he started opening up to—my son, Noah. Their relationship just kept evolving.”
Noah quickly became Buddy’s favorite, and the little pup showed his affection with abundant cuddles and kisses. Over time, Buddy began to relax and grow closer to both Tracey and Ryan.

The loving care from his new family transformed Buddy into a vivacious dog full of energy and affection. Tracey described him as “a crazy ball of energy who loves attention.” Buddy, once timid, now fit perfectly into their lives like the missing piece of a puzzle.
With love and time, even Sissy accepted Buddy, and the two dogs began to get along. Today, Buddy thrives in his new home, enjoying lively playtime in the yard with his canine siblings. His dream of finding a loving family has finally come true, making him the happiest dog.
