When Cotton the cat was first found, he was alone on the streets of Florida, being eaten alive by a horrific mite infestation and, with his eyes scabbed over by mange, was unable to find food for himself.
Thankfully, Cotton was found by a good samaritan and taken to Carmen Weinberg, the founder of Animal Friends Project. Cotton was in a terrible state, but Carmen was determined to restore the cat to health.
Her efforts paid off ten-fold. Carmen told the story of Cotton’s recovery to The Dodo.
